Lucky for dwellers of Gloucester and visitors of the Inn at Warner Hall alike, Gloucester Main Street has two new restaurants to indulge in—Lulu Birds Kitchen and Patriots Grill, both less than 10 miles from our historic grounds.
Both spots are taste-test approved by us – Troy & Theresa! Let us know what you think!
At Patriots Grill, you might just be greeted with “fáilte!” meaning “welcome” in Irish. Patriots Grill is the home of “Tasty Eats & Yummy Treats” and a menu full of hand-patted burgers, smoked in-house meats and hot skillet desserts. They pride themselves on their Irish roots, friendly staff and what’s becoming a local favorite, their Old Fashioned Root Beer Float. But, at Patriots Grill you will be asked some tough questions, including whether you’ll have Carolina, Texas or Kansas City rub with your meal and which Virginia craft beer or cider you want to pair with it.

The restaurant features a from-scratch kitchen where every dish comes right off the hot line. Chef Keyvan Behnam’s international culinary chops are evident in the worldwide cuisine he prepares. The menu is peppered with dishes that span the globe.
