Chef Eric Garcia has a firsthand understanding and appreciation of locally produced vegetables, poultry, seafood and meats and how to bring out their best, most flavorful, seasonal creations. Dedicated to creating exquisite dining experiences for the extended Warner Hall community, Chef Eric remains equally passionate about the relationship of farmers with their crops and animals, as well as the partnership between local farmers and chefs.
Cultivating the chef/farmer relationship Chef Eric says, “requires an ever present focus on finding food that’s seasonal, regardless of how small the window of availability may be. Growing and eating local is win-win partnership for the sustainable food experience. It offers the freshest bounty of seasonal offerings, without wasting precious crops and farmer’s resources.
Join the Warner Hall community on Wednesday, August 10th, from 5 to 7 p.m. for Chef Eric’s discussion on “Growing LOCOal – Crazy for Eating Locally.”
